Happy 10th Birthday!
It’s true… tomorrow will be my car’s 10th birthday! Tonight I’ll be celebrating with cake in a streamer-decorated garage, and tomorrow my car gets all new moulding. Woo hoo!

Happy 10th Birthday Meridian Afterburn! It doesn’t seem that long ago, that you, me, and Kimberly were cruising around the Main Line. But you haven’t aged a bit, in fact, I’m sure, if Kimmie has had anything to do with it, you probably look even better. Good for you!! happy 10th Birthday to your car… Go and celebrate… I remember when i had my Volkswagen’s first birthday… My generous friends bought my car lots of Volkswagen Accessories… Together with my friends celebrated it also in our garage.. it was great… have a great birthday with your car…enjoy…

I hope you’re still driving you 96 Cabrio. I bought the exact same car for my wife about 7 years ago. Last year at 136,000 miles- It needed some recent repairs, exhaust, electrical, etc. and I wouldn’t let her give it up, so I got it fixed and started driving her car. Last week I total the car- (made it to 153,000 miles) no other vehicles involved, I hit a concrete barrier at about 50 mph. I walk away with a bruise- I agree a very safe car. After 11 years- be sure you have a good mechanic and check the ABS pump/struts etc. Now I miss the VW- maybe I’ll buy a new one. Be careful out there!!!!
